I’m very interested in the process as a writer, as I’m sure others are. I’d love to try it, but what a challenge. How big of a buffer would be big enough to not freeze myself with anxiety? I’m not good with deadlines, yet they do light a fire. Anyway, I’m watching with interest and sending you good writing wishes.
right now my buffer is insanely small - five pages? problem is instead of blazing ahead im always polishing what ive written, i suspect with these projects one needs to burn like a fire but instead im doing the glacial thing.
Okay, I’m hooked, despite my resistance to anything not grounded in our world as we know it. But I may have to learn that the human experience transcends the material details and go along on the ride. And the name “Feckles “ is so brilliant. It makes me want to protect her because, in my mind’s eye, she must have freckles.
I am so excited to read these too!! I love the line about Feckles. “—and yet here she is.” Those em dashes are the breath of the mind—drawing on poetry! Stoked to read more. Grateful to be able to read these—thank you!
